1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe; we store your Stripe customer ID but do not store credit card numbers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including searches performed, properties viewed, exports generated, and features used. This data helps us improve the product and enforce plan limits.

Uploaded Data: If you upload CSV or Excel files, we store the data you provide to integrate it with our property database.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process subscriptions and payments; (c) enforce usage limits based on your plan; (d) send important service-related communications; (e) improve and develop new features; (f) prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Data Sources

Property data displayed in QuickCRE is sourced from publicly available records, including county assessor databases, deeds of record, and other government-published property information. Contact information associated with properties is derived from public records. We do not collect private or non-public personal information about property owners.

4. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie (session_token) to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with: (a) Stripe, for payment processing; (b) law enforcement, when required by valid legal process; (c) service providers who assist in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality agreements.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including password hashing (bcrypt), HMAC-signed session tokens, HTTP-only cookies, and encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may: (a) access and update your account information at any time; (b) request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support; (c) export your CRM data (notes, tasks, pipeline status) before account deletion. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain anonymized usage statistics. Session data is automatically purged when expired. Export tracking records are retained for billing and audit purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
